McLaughlin & Lauricella, P.C.

Slade McLaughlin and Paul Lauricella are experienced trial attorneys whose combined careers span sixty years. Slade & Paul serve as “of counsel” to Shrager, Spivey & Sachs, an affiliation which provides the resources of a large firm while enables them to provide personal service for their clients.

Smart, principled, and hard working, Slade and Paul have built their well-deserved reputations on their courtroom victories, not on television commercials. Between them, Paul and Slade have personally secured dozens of million dollar and multi-million dollar jury verdicts, often in cases in which the defendants had made no offers of settlement. Together, Slade and Paul spent more than four decades at the Beasley Firm in Philadelphia where they were mentored by iconic, legendary trial attorney, James Beasley, Sr., in the decades prior to his death in 2004. Today, Slade and Paul bring their courtroom experience and knowledge of the law to McLaughlin & Lauricella, P.C. where they personally fight for their clients.

At a larger firm, your case may be assigned to a junior associate or an attorney considerably less experienced than the lawyer you believe you have retained or whose name appears on the court filings. At McLaughlin & Lauricella, your case will be personally managed by Slade or Paul, or, more frequently, by Slade and Paul. We employ an approach which is rather unprecedented: two highly qualified and experienced attorneys, working side-by-side, conducting depositions jointly, and even trying your case jointly.  This comprehensive attention to detail recently enabled Slade and Paul to secure a $16,250,000 settlement, after more than two weeks of trial, on behalf of a landfill worker who was run over by a bulldozer, one of the largest personal injury settlements in Pennsylvania history.
