Rob was recently recognized in the 29th edition of The Best Lawyers in America®️ for Medical Malpractice Law – Plaintiffs and Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs. He has been nominated and recognized consistently by Best Lawyers® since 2018.
The Best Lawyers in America® was first published in 1983 as a way to highlight top legal talent in the United States. Because the process for recognition by Best Lawyers® is based solely on peer review, each recognition is a tribute to the reputation of excellence an attorney has earned within their own profession.
Each candidate must pass through a rigorous selection process before they can be recognized in an annual publication of The Best Lawyers in America®️. A scrupulous, multi-stage candidate review methodology is employed to best capture the consensus of leading figures in a legal practice area.
A potential candidate must first be nominated by a peer—an attorney cannot nominate him or herself. Their name will then be added to a ballot and distributed through a peer voting system. Voters will be given questions such as: ““If you were unable to take a case yourself, how likely would you be to refer it to this nominee?” Voters will be asked to rate the nominee with a score of 1 to 5.
Additional comments may also be left by voters. These will then be analyzed and considered by Best Lawyers® research staff. Top candidates that emerge through the voting process are further subject to an eligibility check that includes examination of state bar association sanction lists and ethics committee findings. If an attorney is successful in passing each of these stages, they will be notified of recognition and included on the annual Best Lawyers® list for public release.
