Philadelphia Woman Struck and Killed by SEPTA Bus
Shrager & Sachs law firm joins the rest of Philadelphia in mourning the senseless loss of a local woman. The 71-year-old woman was a resident of Philadelphia’s Germantown neighborhood and will certainly be missed by neighbors, friends, and loved ones.
At 9:21 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2022, the front right passenger side of a SEPTA bus struck the elderly woman, knocking her to the ground. After she was hit by the bus, the woman was then dragged for a significant distance before the driver finally stopped. The victim’s shoes were located approximately 60 feet apart.
Emergency medical services transported the woman to the Einstein Medical Center in North Philadelphia. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
